LOST IN TRANSLATION

One of the reasons for going on a family vacation to France was for Logan and Taryn to communicate with the French people and impress us with their ability to use the skills they have learned in French immersion. From the time, we landed in Montreal to the last several days in Paris, Logan and Taryn have been translating and communicating with the locals, restaurant, hotel and retail staff. We are both very impressed with their abilities to communicate in French. Each day they continue to amaze us with their ability to communicate in any situation. I think many of the people we speak with are confused with Logan and Taryn’s ability to speak fluent French and their parents do not. Mae is coping much better then I with understanding the ongoing French dialogue. I am still lost in Translation. I guess this serves me right for quitting French classes in grade 7.
