FRENCH CONNECTION

Well, we are on our way to the beautiful City of Romance (Paris). Our first leg of the trip took us to the French-Canadian city Montreal. Our flight was approximately four hours. It was a great way to see our great country especially on Canada Day. In Europe you can fly for 2-3 hours and cross over several countries. Our flight gave us a bird’s eye view of this vast, beautiful country. At 37,000 feet we saw the endless flat prairies, the many lakes in northern Ontario and the St. Lawrence Seaway as we approached the Pierre Trudeau airport. We are already using our French speaking skills. Well, the kids and Mae are using their French speaking skills. I am following behind because I am a fish out of water when it comes to the French language. It will be an adventurous three weeks. I should be fluent in French when I return.
In a few minutes we will be heading to our gate to catch our flying hotel for the night.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Au revoir,

R, M, L and T

  1. Bon Voyage!
(That's about all the French I know... :P)

Say, would you guys mind looking into bringing me back an (official) miniature souvenir (hey, another French-based word!) Eiffel Tower?,...assuming you're going there, of course...
    That'd be great, Thanks.

Hope you have the time of your lives!
    Andy
